Rooms and playback stay in step
Create and edit saved zones, match speaker volumes and see clearer numeric levels. Playback started in other apps now updates rooms, artwork and the mini player more reliably; inactive queues no longer look current.
Artwork, more consistently
Improved artwork loading across feeds, search, albums, Now Playing, playlists and queues.
Purchase and connection recovery
Improved purchase restoration, including on Apple TV, plus clearer recovery when a household or access check is temporarily unavailable.
Music library reliability
Fixed Apple Music playback for longer albums and playlists, improved library loading, and made feed ordering more consistent across devices.
Sources that follow your household
Connected music sources refresh more reliably, with clearer setup states and support for multiple named accounts. Added German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.

Newly connected services appear more dependably, service account labels stay consistent, and unlocked users avoid a brief purchase-screen flash.
Try Sonement free
Introduced a seven-day trial before one permanent unlock. Music source layouts became easier to customise, while larger libraries load progressively.
Announce across homes
Added voice announcements to compatible rooms, including a linked remote household, along with named households, remembered Wi-Fi associations and refined music browsing.
More dependable multi-device control
Playback, room state and controls stay in sync more reliably across Apple devices, with improvements to grouping, volume, alarms, sleep timers and music services.
Widgets and synchronisation
Refined widget appearance and cross-home service synchronisation, with performance and stability improvements.
Search filters and better group volume
Added per-source search filters, more reliable group volume, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island playback controls, and a fuller iPad layout.
Early refinements
UI improvements, bug fixes and feature additions across the first release.
