These are the requirements confirmed for the current release. If your speakers, service or network setup is not listed, ask before you buy.

Sonement is available across Apple devices, with each platform requiring version 26.0 or later of its operating system.

Speakers on the local network
Everyday control discovers and talks to locally available Sonos speakers over Wi-Fi. Guest networks and client isolation can stop discovery.
Music sources
Music service support depends on the provider, account and platform. Review the music-source guide for currently described sources.
Remote features
Optional remote-household and announcement features have separate account-linking requirements. Read the privacy policy before enabling them.
Sonos system generation
Not yet verified for this page: Sonement's S1 compatibility needs verification against an S1 household. Do not assume S1 support from this guide.

- Can I explore Sonement without speakers?
- Yes. Demo Mode creates a sample household so you can look around when you are away from your own system.
- Is Sonement a subscription?
- No. The current App Store listing offers a seven-day trial and permanent access with one purchase.
- Does Sonement collect usage data?
- Sonement has no advertising, analytics or cross-app tracking. Optional remote features process the information described in the privacy policy.
- What if my setup is unusual?
- Send support your speakers, music service and Apple device before purchasing.
